Every time I talk to my friends they are either tired.com or hanging.com (I hate hanging too, mainly because I dont go out to get a hang over)

Today my friend is struggling.com because its cold. Everyone is bloody saying this and its stupid.fucking.com.

Damn you Confused.com!!!

YANBU.com Wink

upahill · 21/10/2011 09:36

It's just a phase.
It'll pass like everything else.

PandorasSocks · 21/10/2011 10:04

YANBU

But you will now get a lot of .comments Wink

WhereYouLeftIt · 21/10/2011 10:28

Never heard anyone do this! Are your friends normally so suggestible to advertising?

TheTenantOfWildfellHall · 21/10/2011 10:29

I've never heard this either. Are your friends 14? Grin

EricNorthmansMistress · 21/10/2011 10:40

YANBU
I have a couple of friends who say this. They are also 'hugs hon love my lil princess' type people. (But I still like them)

Stupid.com

knittynoodle · 21/10/2011 10:42

Urgh, thats why its so infuriating. They are all over 30. You should see the smug 'Im still cool' face most of them pull after saying it.

My son did this for a few weeks, i had to stop myself from yelling at him every time

.co.uk

mumwithdice · 21/10/2011 10:44

Tell them the dot com bubble burst years ago and they are hopelessly out of date. YANBU of course.

QueenofJacksDreams · 21/10/2011 10:45

YANBU this is all over my FB too usually by the sort of idiots that I already couldn't think less of anyway.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 21/10/2011 10:46

Haven't you got a perfect blank expression you can use when they've said it?

TheTenantOfWildfellHall · 21/10/2011 10:47

Will it make you feel better if I tell you that my DH's favourite word of the moment is "awesome". Everything is fkn awesome.

If he's really pleased with something, it's "freaking awesome".

He's 36.

He thinks he's cool too.

I tell myself he's being ironic. Unfortunately, he's not. :(

MsVestibule · 21/10/2011 10:49

It's so passe. A friend used to do this years ago. It's like people saying "You are the weakest link", years after The Weakest Link started. Whereas I'm always really witty, entertaining and original in my conversation :o

ShroudOfHamsters · 21/10/2011 10:51

Wow, I thought that little fad was over about 6 years ago. Your friends are naff.com

TheTenantOfWildfellHall · 21/10/2011 10:55

Almost as cringey as people who still say "er can I phone a friend?"

AgathaCrusty · 21/10/2011 11:00

But not quite as bad as the zillion or so people who say "simples"

CamperFan · 21/10/2011 11:03

YANBU, I hate hate hate it!!

Other things I hate-

People writing 'tis
Adding -tastic to the end of random words

NinkyNonker · 21/10/2011 11:04

Yanbu, and what is the adding of hash tags everywhere all about? Tired# Can'bearsed# etc etc

CamperFan · 21/10/2011 11:05

thetenant, that did make me laugh, your poor DH Smile

befuzzled · 21/10/2011 11:06

very passe surely, even the hash tags thing is getting old - sill soon be over im sure

TheTenantOfWildfellHall · 21/10/2011 11:32

I know CamperFan, bless him!

Mandy2003 · 21/10/2011 11:42

Yes shroud I read the OP and wondered what year I'd woken up in Grin

SuePurblybiltFromBitsofCorpses · 21/10/2011 11:54

Do people still say this? I never got it the first time - makes no sense to me.

aldiwhore · 21/10/2011 11:55

YANBU OP I had to stop saying 'chillax' because, well, it made me sound like a cock.com.
