Found ex on plentyoffish, he has himself with our kids as a profile pic, AIBU to ask him to take it off, it's irritated me something silly, especially since he hasn't done much with them recently. Am very annoyed that he's using them to market himself for a shag date.

And how should I bring it up? Because he doesn't know I'm also a saddo dating online.

It's a bit tacky having your kids in any kind of profile photo imo

But having said that, they are his kids too so that's his choice.

Perhaps he wants to make it clear to any possible date that he comes as a package though, rather than being 'completely single'?

You could say that someone you know from work alerted you that your children's photos were online on a dating site.

That just doesn't sound like a good sentence, does it?!

With any luck he'll find the prospect of people his ex knows, who therefore know of his children, clocking THEM on the site (rather than him) a little distasteful himself, and change his pic!

My Ex used to use pictures of himself and DD to pretend he was a single Dad, struggling away to raise DD . Both he and his potential dates were too fick to notice the evidence of a wife in the pictures and a me-shaped shadow as I took the photos . Tacky and off-putting, I can't imagine it would attract any nice women.

I think if you mentioned it, he'd be delighted you were looking. Can you get someone else to say something to him?
