So, bought a LittleLife toddler backpack off company on Amazon, except it's not a LittleLife backpack, it's a FUCKING DEATHTRAP. Cheap, flimsy nylon with cheap, flimsy handles so the little one can run off when it snaps near a busy road and FUCKING KILL HERSELF.... Have so far ranted to Amazon, LittleLife and actual company, who were quick to offer a full return and postage, I fucking bet they are, I wouldn't want the evidence hanging around either, cNUTS. Rant over. I still want to fucking kill them though, bastards

thank you feel my wraith, I shall try to unwind enough to consider syntax in future. No squeakytoy, it arrived today and I wouldn't put it near her. I know ScaredBear, we borrowed one from a relative and the LittleLife backpacks are amazing. That's my problem - it's not a LittleLife backpack, it's a cheap, nasty copy. Sprog doesn't like reins AnotherJaffaCake, she pulls on them and falls over, but for some reason she trots along happily in her actual, borrowed backpack. It's that they're advertising LittleLife backpacks and selling cheap nylon rubbish that upsets me, cos if you'd never seen an original you might not know the difference. Parent safety rein is one of the main features so you would expect the stitching not to be coming away before you've ever used it. Selling cheap copies of jeans and t-shirts is one thing, but selling shoddy toddler items is unacceptable. It's not even the same material as the LittleLife backpack.

Don't send it back - pass it along to Trading Standards. They will be interested if it is a) a fake or b) unsafe.

We loved our littlelife backpack.

Although it didn't get much use. Only needed it for 2 weeks until ds1 learned I meant business. Grin. Have kept it for ds2.

You weren't by any chance pulling her up from the ground using just the lead where you?

Maybe a slight over reaction there Grin

Take the advice above and get on to trading standards. IME they are very interested in shoddy items especially when they are intended to keep children safe (and clearly won't)

I know ScaredBear, I e-mailed them, and, Amazon earlier asking what I can do about it. I will get in touch wuth trading standards but they've only got 9 feedbacks, I reckon they'd trade under a different name and keep selling them. She's just turned 1 and she's into everything so hair clips, wrist reins, everything's a toy. She pulls her hand away unless we're walking up or downstairs. Um, so how do you edit posts on here once you've made a tit of yourself?Grin

can you link to it on amazon?

tinysock · 12/10/2011 19:23

I can try, but it shows you a picture of the cute, fluffy, sturdy one you think you're getting, not the one they actually send. Will find link now.

So in actually fact you bought a fake? Replica? Have you told Amazon the person is selling counterfeits?

Hungrydragon · 12/10/2011 19:28

Aaah understand now, so she hasn't worn it yet. Call trading standards if it's a fake, believe me littlelife will be on their arse too.
