Just went on their European site and they sell this

I know it's just bed sheets, but somehow it makes me a bit ill to think of a 5yo girl sleeping under the duvet with a Playboy bunny. More for feminist reasons than anything else.

Who buys it for their children, fgs?

I can't stand it, personally, although the actual brand (with the bunny on everything) isn't really pornographic in itself, I just find it really chavvy and tacky.

Are we sure it isn't a mistake? Someone thinking "hmm sparkly bunnies must go in the little girl section"

It's nothing new though.

My neighbour's DD had her daughter completely kitted out with PB stuff about 8yrs ago....in fact I think it's 'out of fashion' now?

Her DD was only 12 too.

well you could look at it like you do with any other brand. such a disney. People assosiate them with children for example but they own alot of things that are for adults or innapropriate for children.

same with this. it is just a brand name who have made pretty pink, heart bedsheets.

winnybella · 05/10/2011 16:47

I went to their site as I thought of ordering something from Clarks and Clarks don't deliver to mainland Europe so they tell you to go to their 'sister site' as they do.

Yes, but Disney is overwhelmingly associated with cartoons etc, while Playboy is associated with sexist erotic mags for men. Of course if we were to research what every company sells/what other companies they own etc we would often find out that they cater to different markets etc...
