to feel that i don't trust my own judgement when testing to see if shoes i have bought dcs fit

i bought my dd1 next boots always find it hard to judge whether they feet i.e finding where the toes r

my dd2 was measured in clarks and measures a 5.5e so ordered her some clarks trainers online from a website that does clarks shoes
even though i know thats what she was measured in clarks still panic that they might not fit in some way!!!

Do the talc test to put your mind at rest.

Sprinkle some talcum powder in the shoes, make the children put them on and walk a few steps in them, take the shoes off and check from the talc imprint where their toes are.

You should be able to tell from that how close toes are to the end of the shoe and also if they're being squished at the side.

It's not so easy with trainers but you should get a rough idea.

Can't she tell you if they fit or not? My DD is 10 and a 13.5 size, she would definitely tell me if they were tight.
Nice tip about the talc though, she has said shoes fitted when they are crunching her toes up.

she is only 2.8 years

sorry, DD has only just gained english feet. She was born abroad and always had continental feet. Not only is she a 13.5, she is also a 33.

ok tried with flour have no talc coudn't see
sure they r fine have got her to stand up in them felt across the top and toes
with trainers doesnt matter as much!
more worried about width then toes as she has f trainers too

received dd1s molly cat boots so cute
think they fit
she wont be wearing very often anyway
