A purple faux fur coat?

Which is exactly what my DH has just brought back from Asda for our 3 month old daughter. Confused

musttidyup that is splendidly hideous.

Musttidyup
You need some kind of award. Just awful.

FredFredGeorge · 04/10/2011 16:29

lovingthecoast how is your newborn going to get good enough at lacrosse to not embarrass themselves in the school playground lacrosse games if you won't let them have a pair of lacrosse trainers?

You're setting them up for a life of struggle there!

lovingthecoast · 04/10/2011 17:38
Grin After I corrected my typo I did wonder whether we may have kept Lacrosse footwear, even for a newborn. But white Lacoste trainers? I wouldn't have minded had they been bought by a stranger but they were actually bought by the woman we had asked to be his Godmother. DH still says stuff like, 'Best not get ourselves killed otherwise DS1 will have M dressing him!' Grin
BertieBotts · 04/10/2011 17:48

DP doesn't get DS dressed any more. He says that I give him a "look" and sigh every time he does!

musttidyupmusttidyup · 04/10/2011 18:25

Oh I never let DH dress the DCs. I learned my lesson when DS1 was a baby- he looked like he'd fallen into a jumble sale. He just has no idea what goes with what. I'm not there to dress them I lay out their clothes for him. I am pretty anal though.

BertieBotts · 04/10/2011 19:17

The thing is, I don't even care that much - but he manages to find the most bizarre combinations of clothing, including stuff which is massively out of season or outgrown.

smartyparts · 04/10/2011 19:23

Headbands especially those with a flower on.

They don't make your baby look cute - they make it look slightly grotesque.

DirtyBit · 04/10/2011 20:42

I've seen that in Asda, no good for a baby...especially a dribbly one. Eurgh I can just imagine if my DD was in it, drowned rat comes to mind.

mutha2two · 04/10/2011 20:54

football strip especially a stripey one - utterly utterly pikey, even on the Beckham brood. Do you think Harper Seven will be wearing one any time soon?
