What advert? Confused

VespaJasper · 03/10/2011 17:21

Yes, what advert? I haven't seen the Vagina Monologues so can't comment as to its shitness but I've always liked the sound of it and been glad it was there. There isn't much stuff about vaginas that isn't porn, so good on it, is what I've thought. What didn't you like about it?

SinicalSal · 03/10/2011 17:23

the male version is called

Talking bollocks

Boom boom.

Never seen it so possibly making an unfair joke.

Jackstini · 03/10/2011 17:24

What advert?
Didn't mind VM - no love or hate for it really, gave me a few laughs & a night out

VespaJasper · 03/10/2011 17:26

:o at talking bollocks

CoffeeIsMyFriend · 03/10/2011 17:29

I laughed all the way through. It was funny.

What advert?

LadyBeagleEyes · 03/10/2011 17:29

I've never seen it either but it seems to do the rounds every few months and then they pull in every actress that's appearing in it and they repeat verbatim what it's about and how they feel about talking about vaginas.
I don't think there's an ex soap star/actress left in the Uk who hasn't appeared in it.
The same goes for Calendar Girls, another one I haven't seen.
Don't know what the advert is but isn't it about time someone wrote a new drama?

lesley33 · 03/10/2011 17:34

I loved the vagina monologues!

KittyFane · 03/10/2011 18:07

VM - load of c**p.

hester · 03/10/2011 18:12

VM - 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back.

Tee2072 · 03/10/2011 18:12

I thoroughly enjoyed the Vagina Monologues.

LaurieFairyCake · 03/10/2011 18:12

It was so terribly sad and moving when I saw it. The vagina that spoke about gang rape had the whole audience crying.

SinicalSal · 03/10/2011 18:14

tbf it is the kind of feministy thing I like.

Not much call for feministy theatre out in the wilds where I am

AnnetteProfit · 03/10/2011 18:17

i just wanted to say EW EW and get off the fecking stools you lazxy arses

If you don't want a talking vagina, you should pay more attention to the show titles. Playwrites do tend put a bit of thought into them
