Ooh I watched this for the first time this week. Who is the fucking hilarious one with the cartoon smile who throws random "darling"s around all the time. He actually made me laugh out loud.

Loved the way he looked so bewildered at having secured three dates, despite questioning his respect for one girl (to her face) and telling the other her dress reminded him of his prep school rugby shirt. Don't know how he manages to deliver his lines with a straight face. Oh wait, it isn't scripted....

OP I am going against general opinion on this thread to tell you, you are NOT being unreasonable. He is lovely. I don't know why everyone hates him so much I find him and Hugo so funny. You can see them trying not to laugh at each other when saying their "lines".

Actually though I fancy Frederik the most.

Mind you, they all laugh when saying their lines, perhaps because (last week) they consist solely of

Every week at least one person drawls "let's see what harppens" while looking minxy (Millie), befuddled (Francis) or smug (Hugo/Spencer/new blond oxygen thief). Yet I still love it!

I want to like this show but I just dont get this "scripted reality" genre AT ALL!!!

I would happily watch these people if it were real. Hidden camera docs are my prefered genre, like 7 Dwarves or Educating Essex.

So whats happening is acting based on a kind of reality? Or are they real people acting out a soap story line?
