As all the local Padres have been laid low by Cook's concoctions, the immediate danger of the gels being wed to the decrepit, depraved or dippy has passed.

I have given Cook permission to come ashore and provided her with a map of all monasteries and churches within 100 miles that she may enhance the clerics' diets with her nourishing and inventive meals.

While down on the beach I enjoyed my first lesson with Don de Thrusting Hips My, what sweating in the dunes we had.

Fiderer · 30/09/2011 13:53

Miss Nowak appears to be insistent and desperate. Mister Holden seems very reluctant. Did he perhaps not perform to her satisfaction?

iklboo · 30/09/2011 14:05

Whilst walking in the gardens, Mister Holden was caught by the naranjas and had to go in for a lie down.

Hullygully · 30/09/2011 14:55

I love a picnic!

Shall we ride those proud stallions with the oddly glowing eyes that light up at the irreligious? I have a strong hankering to clasp their hot muscled backs between my oyster-oiled thighs. Will Don Abercrombie be coming? Sadly dear mr Rochester has had to set out for Patagonia as he has pressing interests in those parts.

Fiderer · 30/09/2011 15:39

Padre Don Cojones has corralled the glowing-eyed horses ready for a blessing tomorrow.

Our steeds are here and our guides for the picnic are returning the saddles to the stables after I explained about Mistress Hully's oiled thighs and my fervent desire to ride bareback.

DonDiegoYDoritoYTinto · 30/09/2011 15:42

the gels have been taking advantage of the unseasonably sultry weather

I fear much chaffing.

minimammoth · 30/09/2011 16:07

shaking the machine has not helped my in my persuit of a witty name change I fear. As I can barely spell in English there is little chance in Spanish. Machine is not playing with the links either, I am losing much merriment. I shall swoon in a corner of the chapel and help padre with his castanettes. He is sure to need them at the picnic.

minimammoth · 30/09/2011 16:12

I hope cook is well on with our picnic food. Tapas or not tapas, that is the question.

Fiderer · 30/09/2011 16:36

Mistress Mini, I too am afflicted with a contrary machine, my work one which I have taken for half-term the voyage and I have had to cajole and download and do all sorts to make it do my bidding. My desktop escritoire is faulty and my laptop missal too small for Doctor Who prequels and West Wing DVDs much bible reading.

Today I have acquired without much warning (courtesy of Master Fid Minor) 2 small furry creatures for half-term and (courtesy of Master Fid Major) 2 leggy 12 year-old gels wearing eyeliner who will stay the night. Miss Fid Junior (9) is delighted by all our houseguests and I have a juniper tisane waiting.

Plus every other bugger here is going away and we can't, although AH is in the south of France with his girlfriend. I may get bitter in the coming days, work has kept me half-sane and I'm off now too.

minimammoth · 30/09/2011 18:06

Purging will be just the thing miss fiderer . I have travel leeches with me for such humours.

minimammoth · 30/09/2011 18:08

Do not be down hearted, we will persuade Julio and Antonio
To teach us the Rhumba< has it been invented yet>

Fiderer · 30/09/2011 18:43

We could invent the Rhumba. Our tango teachers in Madeira were impressed by our suppleness and how we improvised when we lost our way were creative.

I hear the <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=miriam+margolyes+infanta&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=965&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=s&biw=1269&bih=602&tbm=isch&tbnid=8TELPT0ir_5p0M:&imgrefurl=www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/blackadder/episodes/one/one_queen.shtml&docid=jDG6VkT7NIhHFM&w=396&h=222&ei=ujGGTsfFDse28QPB3Yhn&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=339&vpy=104&dur=69&hovh=168&hovw=300&tx=179&ty=129&page=1&tbnh=134&tbnw=172&start=0&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">infanta may join us at the picnic.

BelleDameSansMerci · 30/09/2011 22:26

Where are we now?

minimammoth · 30/09/2011 22:26

I think I have found a partner who looks like he knows his tango from his <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=Antonio+Banderas+Zorro&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=s&biw=1269&bih=602&tbm=isch&tbnid=FLKDYi3mVTruDM:&imgrefurl=thecia.com.au/reviews/z/zorro-2.shtml&docid=ap_thJjAl36JpM&w=714&h=474&ei=LDOGTtPXEIms8QPflshi&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=952&vpy=175&dur=6926&hovh=183&hovw=276&tx=207&ty=106&page=1&tbnh=137&tbnw=181&start=0&ndsp=20&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">flamenco, I believe he is available.

(they are for me. Special)

Honeydragon · 01/10/2011 00:04

They are for me too (less special)

I am most vexed to be late to events again bloody dh and his marital shennanigans what engagements have a missed?

Jins · 01/10/2011 15:25

Not for me

Ladies I have finally managed to get a referral for an x ray. It's a start! I succeeded after telling my doctor that I was keeping a diary that my estate could use for the inevitable posthumous negligence claim.

A girl's gotta do...

Hullygully · 01/10/2011 15:38

Yay! Go Jins!

minimammoth · 02/10/2011 17:13

Well done Jins, Hope the answer is a simple one, and full health and throughput returns soon. Sorry links not always working < glowers at machine> . It needs counselling since the Jackman experience.

CheerfulYank · 02/10/2011 17:22

Good show Jins !

I had much too much wine last night and my head is in a terrible state of affairs and DS is hollering singing at the top of his little lungs.

AIBU to screech at him?

Ugh! Enough! Take me away to a Spanish ballroom!

Fiderer · 02/10/2011 17:30

Goodo for Jins.
Cheerful, screech away.

I am wistful that I cannot send my daughter to St Trinian's. She is too. What an education for a gel! My thread's in Chat, I hope it will not be hijacked by the po-faced.

Hullygully · 03/10/2011 15:56

Can't find your thread, Fids.

Fiderer · 03/10/2011 16:40

Saw you found it, had fizzled out. Was meant as light-hearted but wish I hadn't bothered.

I have wasted the most gorgeous day trying without luck to find something for the small Fids and me for half-term. They've enjoyed the first day lazing about and Master Fid Major (14) is off to a party (after several Talks). Think a change of scene would do us all good. Master Fid Minor asked me earlier why his dad had been on holiday 4 times this year and we can't afford it. Hard to answer.
