actually mentioned that they are about student loans!

Have just received my annual student loan statement, and nowhere on it does it say that's what it is!

Does it matter? you open it and 2 seconds later you find out

I think you've misunderstood- it does not say on the letter at all, no where.

Did you think I was complaining about it not saying on the envelope? That would be even more ridiculous.

The student loan company was taken over I think, a few years ago, by a company with a name completely unrelated to student loans. I was notified by letter a few years ago that this was happening.

It wasn't too hard to work out yes, the amount for one; I don't have tons of loans.

It just seems so odd that they don't have a line just to say that it's a student loan they're talking about.
