Was gonna just say buy the cheapest without looking at your links but having seen that the cheapest are the knitted wool things then I would say buy the last ones. Those knitted things will start falling apart and looking like crap within weeks I'm sure. As for the Kickers £45!?!?!

MumblingRagDoll · 24/09/2011 21:04

I haven''t looked at the links...Next boots are not good and if there is snow they won't last. Or rain. Or a few puddles.
You need proper leather ones.

Clarks or Startrite.

Or these crocs Powder Boots

MumblingRagDoll · 24/09/2011 21:06

Your links are surely for younger than 6? THose boots might last on a baby in a pram...never on an actve 6 year old.

I would go for the snow boots (obviously, she has shoes for warmer weather and wellies for rain)

tinkbig · 24/09/2011 21:17

she has clarks trainers and wellies

bebanjo · 24/09/2011 21:22

Every year we get DD Gortex boots from Clarks, never make her wear Wellies in the cold weather.

tinkbig · 24/09/2011 21:24

i really like the snowboots cute and practical

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 24/09/2011 21:24

Do you have shares in next or something?

I would go for the grey snow boots if I had to choose from your options

foreverondiet · 24/09/2011 21:34

Don't think this is really for AIBU but I wouldn't buy any of these.

The woolly ones are like slippers and will fall apart, the kickers aren't really boots and are v expensive and the other ones are waterproof like wellies.

I bought clarks blacks ones last winter, something like this, she could wear for school and at weekends.

clarks

But my DD has wide feet hence need to do clarks, might be able to get cheaper elsewhere, eg

lM&S

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 24/09/2011 21:38

OnEdge · 24/09/2011 21:41

OP posts:
chocolatespiders · 24/09/2011 21:46

We went out so much in the snow last year and had very warm clothes but only wellies which dd found so cold even with welly socks on... so I am def buying some snow boots this year.. Even if no snow perfect for winter walks with warm toes Smile

nancy75 · 24/09/2011 21:50

it depends what you want them to go with - my DD has had those knitted type boots before, they last fine and are warm (obviously not great when it's pouring down, but then they have wellies for that)
As for everyone saying they won't last, obviously they won't be worn every day - and how long do people think things that are 15 quid will last for anyway?

tinkbig · 24/09/2011 21:54

thankyou nancy

will try them all on her and see which ones fit

do like grey snow boots those crocs look good 2 though

thought i would c what other people would get

rogersmellyonthetelly · 24/09/2011 23:12

Kickers are fab, they are more expensive than clarks, but I found them so hard wearing I could put them on eBay used and still get a tenner back.
