Its the Geordie accent, sounds awful on TV. Makes me cringe every time I see that advert.

Oh I'm a Geordie as well , I just don't like the broad accents on telly, sounds odd. Ant and Dec can totally pull it off though, and Val from Emmerdale

YABabitU - she was fine on camera in X Factor. But she's not an actress or even a model and it shows in the ad. I think a slightly faster cut woud have helped though - it's the pauses between each phrase that make it seem so wooden ("work it... style it... brush it... sod it..." etc).
