I've posted before about the issue of religion being taught as fact in schools before. I'd be interested to hear what everyone has to say about this.

Coco says she doesn't believe it but seemed to want to continue an arguement on it no matter how often anyone said we were happy for children to be educated about religious beliefs, but didn't see that it was in any way relevant to the science curriculum. And yes, it is media hysteria mostly but I think that it is wise to be concerned about who is allowed to run schools in this country so that it doesn't become something to actually worry about in the future.

Kat

Read through the thread. My position was made clear quite a long time ago; on Thursday will no futher comment needed.

It was you, the next day reapeated every single question, attempted to create new arguments over just about anything written, misunderstood and then very sadly declined into personally insulting me.

It reads you were simply desperate for a fight and Im sad anyone would feel this way.

And for the benefit of the doubt here the exact point that it was concluded

looking back at the link in the OP, the main thrust seems to be 'make sure evolution is properly taught in all schools' and 'make sure creationism and ID aren't taught as if they were valid alternatives'

Are we all agreed on that?

Yes, in a scientfic sense it is technically impossible as an alternative as creationsim is the "supernatural".Whilst being sensitive to those who happen to think differently and not fearing any debate on the subject.

I fail to see how my position could be made any clearer that that.
I am afraid if a anyone had not understand my position by then I am not accountable for that
