To think that the Chuggingtons are dickheads?

They are though, aren't they? Grin

Bloody stupid idiot trains coming bouncing out of their sheds at the start of the theme tune. Do you realise, you locomotive bastards, that if trains jolted up in the air like that IRL, that there would be Serious Consequences? And I hate the way that they just go around doing what they like. Yesterday, one went to visit a puppy. Who told her she could do that? In Thomas, they do what Sir Topham Hatt tells them and the GWR is a better line for it. And Thomas and his friends don't go boogying all over the tracks and make the front of their engines lift off the tracks just because they're excited.

DH says that I am a loon.

Heh. Chuggington annoys the crap out of me. But I know someone who loves it. Funny article here (written by a friend).

scrappydappydoo - Dreams - I think you'll find Manny pays Kelly 'in kind' once all the tools have gone to bed...

Lucky Kelly...

Handy Manny has such a sexy voice.

FantasticVoyage · 20/09/2011 17:05

In Chuggington the trains are diesel trains. SO THEY DON'T EVEN CHUG. Angry

plupervert · 20/09/2011 17:14

The Chuggington chuggers do have to practice for their passenger badges by towing a wagonload of wobbly-weebly passengers, and will fail that badge if they jerk the weebles about! So they won't be bouncing about all their working lives. Look at how sedate Chatsworth, Harrison and Olwen are! There is hope for the Trainees!

DS told me there was a burglar in Balamory today, but the burglar didn't take anything! Bloody incompetent criminal. (not as ineffectual as PC Plum, though)

RogerMelly · 20/09/2011 17:15

I know one of the boys who does the voice for one of the trains on chuggington, he is lovely

DontCallMeFrothyDragon · 20/09/2011 17:17

PC Plum is useless... And he offers to come round and tell your DC about the birds and bees!?!

My DS is 3.5. I don't want a clumsy copper telling him about sex, thank you very much!!! Angry

PeneloPeePitstop · 20/09/2011 17:22

rofl @ lamb shanks
ohhhh I miss CBeebies, mine won't watch now, insist on Nick Jr 2 and all the shite adverts

plupervert · 20/09/2011 17:28

Don'tCallMeFrothyDragon, I think PC Plum would be better at giving a birds and bees talk than at his policing! Have you seen that man dance? He's got some wiggle in his hips!

DontCallMeFrothyDragon · 20/09/2011 17:30

I have seen that man dance... Grin He's a better dancer than Mr J. Fletcher... But I wouldn't trust him with a missing persons report

I've recently found out that my parents (60's, hold down responsible jobs) watch Chuggington. They know what time it comes on and everything.

Surely the plot is a little thin for anyone over five? Watching them sing along to the theme tune is frankly quite upsetting.

ProjectGainsborough · 20/09/2011 18:19

Responsible jobs that allow them to work from home, obviously. Otherwise they'd miss it.

SuePurblybilt · 20/09/2011 18:21

Grin at Gainsborough. Really? Wow.

does not watch Horrible Histories or Steve Backshall on Deadly 60 alone at all. Oh no, not me

ProjectGainsborough · 20/09/2011 18:24

Yes. Think I should start saving for the home now?

ProjectGainsborough · 20/09/2011 18:25

Horrible Histories a different matter altogether, obviously.

scrappydappydoo · 20/09/2011 18:26

not just a voice Wink

Scrappy, I think, I actually, genuinely dribbled a bit when I saw that picture. I hate Kelly now Envy

MrsChemist · 20/09/2011 18:37

I prefer Thomas, but it is pretty fucking sinister at times. For instance, Henry didn't want to get his paint wet, so they bricked him up in a tunnel and left him there. he was never the same again
Then there's the bus that took Thomas' passengers, so he got turned into a hen house.

The naughty robots song from Postman Pat haunts my dreams.

Honeydragon · 20/09/2011 18:40

Oh god I can't help myself I've just gone back for another peek!

MrsSleepy · 20/09/2011 18:45

I wil never be able to watch Handy Manny in the same way again

confusedpixie · 20/09/2011 18:47

Shock I've fallen for the real life Handy Manny!

Those bloody Waybuloo creatures are the worst, "Oh! Chebees!" I want to punch the screen every time I hear that.

TakeThisOneHereForAStart · 20/09/2011 19:01

Honeydragon - "Oh god I can't help myself I've just gone back for another peek!"

Another peek? That picture is my desktop background now! Blush

DreamsOfSteam · 20/09/2011 20:17

OH My Word! Okay I shall moan no more when the boy wants to watch Manny.

Oh, Oh He really is very lovely.

1morestepalongtheworldigo · 20/09/2011 21:51

He was in that 70's show with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Grin geek that I am
