to be a bit miffed at people who bump 3 yr old threads.

I have just made a right tit of myself writing a response to a thread that actually finished in may 2008.
Now I realise I should have looked at the date , but I am sure I am not the only one who doesn't and who would safely assume that posting on something that was in "active" or in the "last 15 mins" would mean that the thread was current.

A very nice poster pointed it out to me so in future I will be more aware
less wine filled but I feel a bit of a eejit.

I'll be someone Googling and getting an old thread and not realising the etiquette is not to resurrect old threads.

Some poor newbie is probably busy thinking of a name change as I type.
