How to make peace with mums when children have had a fall out in school

Hi,
Should I say to other mum not to worry or should I wait for other mum to approach and say sorry to me. Actually I did say to mum not to worry as her child had done something to my child's property - not at all serious but she didn't say much.
Now I am stressing.

we need just a leedle bit more than that to go on!

While you're standing there feeling all awkward and embarrassed or possibly having a row with the other kids mum, the kids will have made up and forgotten all about it.
Kids fall out all the time. One minute Jane is the NBF, the next minute she's the bride of chucky. Don't get involved, it's normal.
If this kid broke something valuable and it was deliberate, well maybe it's a case of saying something to the mum but if not, let it go.

My kids are mostly grown up and my rule was to never get involved in their childish disputes. Not worth the hassle.

Kids are kids and they fall out and make up regularly. Why on earth would you want to go and apologise to another mother for it???

Obviously if property has been damaged then you might want to speak to the other mother but other than that stay out of it.

Why do you need to make peace with another mother just because your children have fallen out? Have I missed something? Is this usual?

There was a mum at my DS's primary school and our sons were always falling out. Real humdingers, made each other angry/cry and then they were best friends again.

We regularly used to meet for coffee and wonder if we were supposed to still be friends with each other that week or not! I wouldn't dream of falling out with an adult because our children had squabbled.

Actual full on bullying would be (and was) very different though!
