Got out of the (communal) showers this morning and was drying off in the open part of the changing room. You can see the showers from the changing room, can't help it in fact, the benches face them. Suddenly realised the lady at the end was shaving her legs.

Thought as never seen someone do that before at a pool... next time I turned round she was legs akimbo doing her bikini line!

Surely that's something to do in the shower at home not in a room full of strangers? And I wasn't spying or anything, she had the curtain back, facing the room!

I thought 'ewwwwww' rather than judgy pants, but am I missing a trick? Should I put a razor and my wax strips into my swim bag so I can multitask?

I'm just grateful she didn't actually do it in the pool. It was lovely and warm in there this morning.

I'm pretty skanky generally but even I'd draw the line at shaving legs at the pool - let alone bikini line! What if she nicked herself? Yuck and biohazard

But then there is always the odd woman who is "in your face" naked in communal changing rooms, wandering around for half an hour and barely remembering to put her clothes on before going out of the door. Whereas everyone else is capable of getting dry and at least putting on a bra and pants before wandering about to dry their hair or whatever. So not entirely surprising. There's one at every party.

As long as no one else was waiting for a shower, I can´t really see the problem tbh.

My ex mother in law went swimming every morning so used the shower at the pool rather than paying to heat water up at home. It wasn't her was it?

Baroness, she would have been going swimming anyway, but if I remember correctly, she had a monthly membership to the gym and pool so could use it as much as she liked.

I was sitting on a bench once in the changing room. I was putting on my shoes so was bent over. When I straightened up the WAS LITERALLY A VAGINA (or vagina and vulva an labia or whatever the fuck it is I'm meant to call it) IN MY FACE. YANBU, time and a place with communal facilities. I can go one better though.

I used to swim at an old victorian pool where the four communal open showers were at one end of the pool, so people would just have a quick rinse off in their costumes, occasionally using a bit of gel or shampoo but as you were in full view of everyone swimming you wouldn't linger.

EXCEPT all the old boys who used the pool after early lane swim used to clearly take the opportunity to have their daily hot shower there and would bring flannels and soap themselves up from head to foot, including one old gimmer who I referred to as the "vigourous soaper" who would WITHOUT FAIL stick his hands inside his trunks front and back with his soapy flannel, giving himself a right good soaping. he'd start soaping when I was swimming in one direction and would still be soaping away three lengths later.
