...to think it's being a bit cheeky parking in a parent and child space when you don't use a car seat?

Now I know it says "parent and child" so any child is technically included, but I thought the point is to give you extra room to manoeuvre a push chair/trolly and/or open your door fully to get a kid into a car seat. I only have a two door car and need a ton of room to open it all the way to get my boy into the back seat.

Today at the grocery store I saw a dad with his 10 year old or so son getting into their car in the parent and child zone. The kid got into the front seat on his own. Frankly I think this guy was taking the mick, especially because they were giving me the eye until I actually pulled a child out of the back.

Opinions please!

I went shopping today with my 7 month old.I pulled in at the first space i got found, put her in the wrap and then locked up my car and got a trolley and did my shopping. I do this rather than drive all the way to the invariably full p and c spaces that then mean i have to drive all the way back around to get to the rest of the carpark.
I think p and c spaces should be banned just for the stress they cause some people.
