Two years ago in NY (not stealth boasting here, honest guv) we were stopped three times by tourists to take dh's picture as they thought he was Sean Penn. Today, a new colleague of his, whilst they were smoking outside the office said 'no offence, like (wait for the offensive remark) but you bear a srtiking resemblance to Sean Penn'

However...Many years ago he had long hair and a goatee beard and looked like Marti Pellow in the 'Love is all around' . A girl came up to him one night and asked if he was Marti, The bugger told her that he was, Had his photo taken with her and gave her a kiss.
