Aibu to pee in the shower..

I think I'm going to be ok,
then the warm water hits me, i start soaping
and my bladder opens!

If I hold it and dash out of the shower to the loo
I'll get a soaking floor so Aibu just to let it flow?

I was watching CSI the other day and thought 'if they CSI'd my shower they'd find pee and menstrual blood and other stuff as the murderers always try to bleach the blood away (like I bleach my shower after using) and the luminol spray STILL shows up that stuff'...

Just to clarify I don't murder people in my shower - I pee and shower sans tampon as someone upthread said!

Thank goodness for the voices of reason on this thread. YANBU OP, as long as your shower drains quickly then where's the harm?

Indeed some might say it is more hygienic than peeing in the loo, since at least in the shower you can wash properly afterwards rather than just wiping with loo roll.

I wee before I get in the shower but often then need to wee again straight away so I just go in the shower. I blame 9lbs 14 oz DD2 for wrecking my pelvic floor.

I always pee in the shower. I read somewhere that it's good for your feet.

i had a shower this morning and did not bother to wee first and felt a lot cleaner after washing it away than using bog roll Grin

I looked this up once (after an MN thread obviosuly) and I'm sure I read that urine is only sterile as it leaves your kidneys. There are bacteria in your bladder and urethra (sp?) so by the time you're peeing, it is no longer sterile.

It is however, only full of bacteria you already have in your body anyway so providing there's only you in the shower and it's getting propely sluiced away, you're not doing any harm to pee in the shower.

Also, I bought some "recommended my Mumsnet" Flexitol hand cream on Monday - the magic ingredient is Urea - so you're probably saving a fortune on foot cream too :)

H noticed the lack of flush in the morning, deduced I weed in the shower and was disgusted , so out of courtesy to him I didn't (or at least flushed the loo on the way to the shower) to make him happy

He is now an exH and I wee in the shower with abandon

I hate it when your in the shower and the need is too much. If I try to get out and on the loo I end up slipping. So for me yes I pee in the shower.

Next day I will put bleach down the plug hole just incase.

There was a massive row on (I think) the first ever Big Brother becaus eone housemate admitted to peeing in the shower, and others found this completely unacceptable.

I pee in the shower, usually more than once each time :)

Millie, we've all done that! Peeing is a different and (apparently) far more serious matter. Guilty.
