Aibu to pee in the shower..

I think I'm going to be ok,
then the warm water hits me, i start soaping
and my bladder opens!

If I hold it and dash out of the shower to the loo
I'll get a soaking floor so Aibu just to let it flow?

Gosh, I deliberately hang on until I get in the shower in order to save a toilet flush. Thought everyone did.

Really, what's wrong with it? Straight down the drain, nice warm soapy water ensures both you & the shower are lovely & clean immediately afterwards.

In the bath is a different matter entirely!

I am another "pee in the shower and the bath" er. Absolooutley cannot help it, could pee prior and still not be able to resist. It is the only thing putting me off a much wanted water-birth...poor baby, born into my wee water.

Also wear a fresh pair of knickers to bed every night. Bollocks to it giving you thrush. Ive worn them since I can remember and have never had thrush (maybe cos my fanjo is so clean from peeing in the shower?)

What a lot of prudes on here! It is healthy and environmentally sound to pee in the shower, and nothing wrong with peeing in the bath, too (especially if you understand the vast dilution of the average wee in the average bath).

Urea softens the skin; in the early 20th century and before, people would collect their urine in a cup, leave it for 24 hours and add it to their next bath, expressly for the purpose of keeping skin in great condition.

Sounds like a lot of reflex "uergh"s without any basic science!

i was told that peeing standing up empties your bladder fully (or did i dream that up) does feel like you have peed everything out

Even if I wee before a shower I still get the urge to go again when the spray starts. No way would I get out and get cold. Anyway it feels liberating!

I pee in the shower. It's clean, it's environmentally sound and for some reason it's one of life's great pleasure. Wee is sterile, the shower and soap washes it away. It's far more hygenic that wiping with loo paper and far more green than flushing the loo.

After giving birth I always pissed in the bath or shower to avoid the awful stinging.. at other times I artfully poured a jug of water over my bits (and down the loo) when I went.

But even when not post birth it has been known for me to have a cheeky pee in the shower, don't see the problem.

Do you remember when BigBrother, went mad, when this was discussed? I think it was the boy who shaved everwhere and dyed his hair black, although he was ginger. and he admitted that he peed in the BB shower. and there wasUPROAR. But I guess that was becasue BB shower was a shared one, unlike you or me peeing in our own private shower.

How does that work? Do people pee in the bath and then sit in their own piss ? Why ? Piss in the bath wow ....really ?Confused

Done this one before, yes it is acceptable, it gets washed away into the same sewer where the toilet stuff goes. You could always throw a bit of bleach in the tray after if you are that manic!

Um I don't. I wee first in the loo because that is it's designated function. I usually need a wee badly when I get up so I do that. And then have my shower.

Feel free to wee in your own showers, but you are mingers if you wee in mine.
