You;ll just find it's in a another room or outside if you did! Grin

AgentZigzag · 28/08/2011 12:07

I was going to say don't be daft, but if it's a Random Irritating Noise YANBU Smile

Start with the telly

squeakytoy · 28/08/2011 12:08

Make sure the noise isnt coming from somewhere else first Grin

I spent a good hour looking for my phone the other day. I could hear it vibrating. I had all the cushions off the sofas, everything pulled out into the middle of the room... could still hear the bugger.

Then realised it was on the bedroom floor on charge, and the vibrating was coming through the ceiling.. Grin

AgentZigzag · 28/08/2011 12:08

Are you sure it's not a DC?

AuntiePickleBottom · 28/08/2011 12:10

not the dc, DD is having a nap and DS is out with GP

ShirleyKnot · 28/08/2011 12:12

It's the smoke alarm

worraliberty · 28/08/2011 12:13

You know the little thing with wires in that's inside a musical birthday card? They sound really weird and spooky when the battery's running out.

I taped one to the underneath of my mate's bed and she ripped the whole room apart before she found it. At one point she thought her house was haunted Grin

AuntiePickleBottom · 28/08/2011 12:14

worral, you on onto something there

OP posts:
Thumbwitch · 28/08/2011 12:15

ok, describe the noise, we'll track it down for you.

Worra - that's pure evil. ShockGrin

AuntiePickleBottom · 28/08/2011 12:22

it's like a creeky sound

OP posts:
Thumbwitch · 28/08/2011 12:24

is it intermittent? constant? Is it very windy where you are? Do you have an open door? do you have wooden windows? Is someone shagging in the room next door?

AgentZigzag · 28/08/2011 12:26

Grin at creaky shagging.

AuntiePickleBottom · 28/08/2011 12:32

found it, a blooming toy with a button stuck

OP posts:
Thumbwitch · 28/08/2011 12:34

Phew! What a relief.
DS has a toy car with a very sensitive touch button on the top that used to go off randomly in the evenings sometimes if it wasn't put away properly - I'm amazed it's survived, tbh - scared me silly a few times!

SquongebobSparepants · 28/08/2011 12:40

Now you have solved yours, I have a toy frog in here that croaks when it sense movemtn. BUT we are not moving, and it keeps going off on one, and I DONT KNOW WHERE IT IS.

Something in the room is moving and setting it off, but we are all sitting on the sofa and I am mildly freaking out.

Thumbwitch · 28/08/2011 12:40

A fly maybe? Wink

SquongebobSparepants · 28/08/2011 12:45

it can't be a fly as we think it is down the back of a chair or toybox...

Thumbwitch · 28/08/2011 12:47

ooo, that's tricky. Since Aunty no longer needs to pull her living room to bits, perhaps you could do yours instead?

SquongebobSparepants · 28/08/2011 13:03

but I'm ill

AuntiePickleBottom · 28/08/2011 13:05

i'm looking at the mess, but cba to clean it up.

squongebob, that illness you got it very contagious.....like i may have came down with something

OP posts:
SquongebobSparepants · 28/08/2011 14:08

blame the youngest, she gave it to me, but hers didn't turn evil

I think it is the sun, everytime the sun comes out from behind a cloud he kicks off. Stupid thing.

Thumbwitch · 28/08/2011 14:10

is it behind the curtain then?
