To think that gas and electric companies could use a bit more common sense?

Why do they feel the need to refund me a load of money at the end of the summer. ? Of course I've hardly used any gas or electric it's been summer ! So now at the end of winter I'm going to be owing them money. Even though I set up the payment to ensure it acuratly represented my annual average!

Surely this must be something they deal with every single day/week/month/year !

We have the same thing - every summer we're 'underspent' and every winter we're 'overspent'. Why don't they just keep the money and take it off the next bill?
And why do they keep putting the prices up when they make such a big profit?

My energy company do keep the money... Unless we request it.

Sadly I can't tell you who our supplier is because DH is the money man lol.
