Think I am over-reacting but we will see! I was in town with my ds and I ran into a friend who I used to work with. We have kept in touch sporadically and normally catch up with each other over the holidays.
If she is in town (not near where she lives herself) then she would normally text me to see what I was doing. That's not what bothered me though. There is another friend of ours and when we meet up, it is usually the 3 of us. But not this time as friend said that she was meeting other friend tomorrow for a coffee and would I like to join them. Felt like saying stuff it as you obviously haven't asked me in the first place and this arrangement had stood for about a week previously.
I felt some sad teenagy feelings of rejection and a little bit confused as to why they wouldn't invite me. AIBU or childish or both?
