I recieved a letter this morning regarding our mortage arrears saying someone is going to contact us. Thats fine i was expecting it etc, but also in my letter theres a letter for someone else, full name and address, mortgage arrears, ref number etc. aibu to think companys that deal with this type of information should be a hell of alot more careful!!

Yes, they should be more careful.. but human error does still happen.

My ex used to work for a printers who did all bulk mailing for a bank. Sometimes the machines would put two letters into one envelope, and there was no way if knowing until someone complained as the letters would be sealed

I would contact them to make them aware as the machines may need fixing

i did contact them as obviously the person the other letter was for would of needed re-sending, dh got the same letter (just one) so surely it wouldnt be the machine?
