ie, there was a nuclear war and humans were wiped out and apes now rule the land. Whats wrong with that?!

Dr Zaius is so narrow minded.

This could be interesting....

Many apes didn't listen properly to the boring bits during history lessons that's why. Obviously. They were too busy monkeying around.
They probably haven't read Gibbon's Rise and Fall Of The Roman Empire, and know nothing of William of Orang-Utan>
That said they may well be aware of the Guer(gor)illa tacticts employed by tribal warriors down the centuries.
They may have heard of Jim Pansy's role in the Great Ape Uprising of Star Date 5321

re watched the original yesterday.... the Orangutans (the priest/leaders of their society) did know (some of them anyways), but kept the knowledge hidden....

Looking forwards to watching the new film!

The new film is good.

I just dont understand why Dr Zaius kept it all so secret and fabricated these 'ancient scrolls' to cover it up. Its not like theres anything explosive to be found out! Man screwed up, apes took over.

Sorry but I hate these nuances. Dont get me started on the Terminator paradox....
