To send DS to nursery with wet wipes to wipe his bum?

I hate dry wiping and it doesn't get all the poo off, especially considering he will be doing it himself at nursery. Would it be unreasonable to send him in with a pack of wet wipes? He's just turned 3

YANBU
But I am very sad that he will have to do it himself (nursery nurse who knows that children can't reaslistically manage on their own at just 3)

Doesn't sound unreasonable at all. DD is 5 and she only likes to use wet wipes as they get her bottom really clean. TMI :o

at just turned 3 my nursery would be 'checking' the job had been successfully carried out

I just don't get the dry wiping thing, I lived in Thailand for years and they wash their bum with a hose thing afterwards. If you got poo on your hand you wouldn't wipe it with a dry tissue right?
