DS just came and asked if he ciuld have a MatchMmmaker because he was worried that the open packet was making the cupboard smell of mint.

He's a very creative 5.

That's brilliant. With that argument, why wouldn't you eat a MatchMaker?

WhiteTrash · 12/08/2011 11:49

Genius!

Perfect reason - well done LittleGip

Smellslikecatpee · 12/08/2011 13:37

I like that one!

My best (IMO) was I had to have some to hide the smaeel of the wine on my breath which I had drunk to hide the smell of Chips!! Grin

Didn't work

ChaosTrulyReigns · 13/08/2011 00:09

Excellent Smellslike.

I like your train of thought.

He's got another method too, but I'm wise to it.

I give him something sweets/crisps or so on. He eats 90% of it, declares he's not keen and therefore he ought to have something else instead.

Oh ho no.

Oh, Im Greta, too.

Confused
Valpollicella · 13/08/2011 00:13

Oh, DS does that too.

Hmm

Re biscuits

'But if we leave them open they go all soft like cake, and I know I don't like cake, but I know you do. But they are my biscuits. Daddy's not allowed any and you don't want to get fat by eating them all before the go soft. So it's best I have them now...Yes?'

Me: Hmm

brillopads · 13/08/2011 00:17

Match makers? We only get those in at Christmas go this household. However should I be concerned about my Wispa going stale, it's been in the cupboard for well over 24hours now

Valpollicella · 13/08/2011 00:21

It's been in there 24 hours....ugh. Don't eat that now....way past it's best.

Wispa's usual shelf life is between shop and home...?

ThePopsicleKat · 13/08/2011 00:25

Mmm matchmakers! Haven't had those in a long time.

I think you absolutely ought to do something about that wispa, brillopads. It's bound to go off. Or attract vermin. Better get rid quick, you'll be doing your household a favour.
