I think pandas have to be the same as other bears (they are just bears really, even though they paid extra for the fancy paint job). Did we decide bears were fuzzy or wiry?

I don't think the bear issue has been cleared up yet AMum. I was pushing for Polar Bears to be in the "hairy" category...but arguably they might be silky.
