I'm talking about this strike through thingy. I don't understand. Is it meant to be witty? Is it so you can say unkind things but pretend you didn't?

no need to reply, really. So unimportant but I have a lot of time on my hands today

I love the strikethrough and wish I could do it on text messages :)

chocolateyclur · 11/08/2011 14:46

Strikethrough is my friend, as are the wotnots. I'm easily pleased.

InfestationofLannisters · 11/08/2011 14:47

Is this still going?

Grin
Anniegetyourgun · 11/08/2011 14:54

[tyrannosaurus]

Disappointed. Or did I spell it wrong?

chasingthedevils · 11/08/2011 14:59

That a reasonable explanation

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 15:08

[iguana]
[clownfish]
plain old [sheep]

Still no ...

Not fair. Want a sheep emoticon.

glitterkitty · 11/08/2011 15:11

[wolf] surely?

glitterkitty · 11/08/2011 15:12

curses

Georgimama · 11/08/2011 15:15

I don't understand the pom bear. I must have missed what that was all about. Does it mean the same thing as the biscuit?

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 15:19

glitter, no no no. it's obviously:

[wolf fleece]

Oh.

glitterkitty · 11/08/2011 15:22

[bitchwolf]?

sigh.

Is it wrong that I really want a wolf fleece now?

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 15:29

Join the wolf-fleece queue club!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 15:30

Georgimama, according to piprabbit:
'That is not just any bear you know, that is a Pom-bear. To be used in slightly awkward social situations when you can distract everyone by passing round the Pom-bears.'

mumsamilitant · 11/08/2011 15:40

I find it fab! laugh my head off at most of the cross throughs, only wish I knew how to do it??? help? Also the emicon thing how do I do that? Apologise if someone has already explained but can they again as at work and haven't got the time to read all answers... ta

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 15:44

miltant, you just put two hyphens at the start of what you want to cross out and two at the end. Emoticons: square bracket, appropriate word eg 'blush' or 'grin' then square bracket.

melika · 11/08/2011 15:45

Never, never have I done that until this very moment! Grin

superjobee · 11/08/2011 15:49

perhaps its [wolef] ? Grin

OhdearNigel · 11/08/2011 15:52

the pombears originated on a thread from a poster who had been to a very odd dinner party with some neighbours who offeed PBs. It was one of those classic MN threads.
I can no longer see pombears without thinking of it. Will try and find it.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/08/2011 15:54

Nice try, superjobee. If wolef doesn't work then frankly I'm ready to give up.

Not really.

[parakeet]
[boa constrictor]
[okapi]

Honestly.

superjobee · 11/08/2011 15:56

wolef has been doing the rounds lately if its not that im Confused maybe [bat] has anyone tried that yet? or [terrywoganscock] seriously obsessed with the bat and twc

glitterkitty · 11/08/2011 16:09
