I'm talking about this strike through thingy. I don't understand. Is it meant to be witty? Is it so you can say unkind things but pretend you didn't?

no need to reply, really. So unimportant but I have a lot of time on my hands today

By the way I've always thought you were a bit of a cunt admired your insightful and witty posts.

gailpottertilsleyplatt · 10/08/2011 15:09

I've found the occasional use of strike-through quite amusing but I'm easily pleased

What I don't get it why people bother using the Biscuit

nickelbabe · 10/08/2011 15:12
Biscuit

most of us just use it to talk about snack foods these days. :)

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/08/2011 15:14

I love strike-through but don't understand the biscuit. Don't understand when and how to use the biscuit, I mean. Is it like 'talk to the hand'?

faverolles · 10/08/2011 15:14

I love strike outs, but I need to know how you all do it and get a continuous line instead of crossing out individual words

DoesthisworkifIdoitlikethis?

faverolles · 10/08/2011 15:15

You see? I'm crap at it. :(

faverolles · 10/08/2011 15:16

The Biscuit I think is a way to not respond when you strongly disagree but CBA to argue.

MadameLupino · 10/08/2011 15:16

I cannot remember how to strike out a whole line either. Someone remind me please and thanks?

faverolles · 10/08/2011 15:17

Is this how you do it?

HoneyPablo · 10/08/2011 15:17

I am crap at strikethrough too. It never seems to work for me becauseIamthick--

nickelbabe · 10/08/2011 15:18

you don't need them every word now.

just at the beginning and end of what you want to strike out.

so fat blob you can sod all do that.

HoneyPablo · 10/08/2011 15:18

see Sad

diddl · 10/08/2011 15:18

Looks like it faverollesGrin

How did you do it?

faverolles · 10/08/2011 15:19

Hahaaaaaa! I did it!

Madame, it's really easy - just put -- at each end of the sentence.

You end up with something like this. I was obviously overdoing it before.

diddl · 10/08/2011 15:19

like this?

messymammy · 10/08/2011 15:20

i like a good strikethrough. meh

teh continuos line works if you put-- at the start and end of what you want to strike out instead of every word.

diddl · 10/08/2011 15:20

Ooh get me never knew that!

messymammy · 10/08/2011 15:21

MardyBra · 10/08/2011 15:26

MardyBra · 10/08/2011 15:26

Especially on live birth threads in a sort of way.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 10/08/2011 15:28

I love the strike out because I'm a saddo and the . I wouldn't be able to write anything without them!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/08/2011 15:30
