For some reason she has been sent a few CC aplication form recently.
What would happen if she applied for one? She wouldn't be liable for any debts she incurred would she?[

Well, no. But you might be. Since they'd probably accuse you of applying in her name! and asking you how she managed to apply, get one and buy things on it without you noticing!

You know they do credit checks, so it would show up at that point, don't you?

If 'she' bought stuff and when you got the bill, you said oops, was my nine year old - they'd be looking into it all very carefully. What was bought, when, where, who was with her...
