I hurt my foot on Thursday, I had to have stitches and I'm on crutches I've got to go back tonight just for a check up to see it's not infected.

I'm in my p'j's and struggle to do anything.

Can I go in my pj's?? They are blue flanelette with pink stars all over them

It's only your bloody foot! Grin

Just bend you knee to get your skirt/trousers over it.

AgentZigzag · 08/08/2011 16:19

Bend your knee obviously.

worraliberty · 08/08/2011 16:20

Please tell me you haven't been wearing them for 4 days?

ObiWan · 08/08/2011 16:20

Depends. Are you planning to go to Tesco on the way home? Grin

Shinyshoes1 · 08/08/2011 16:22

no not for 4 days, only 2, I got dressed saturday Grin

I'm not going to Tesco no. DP wouldn't allow me to do that in my p'j's, I don't think he's going to allow me to go to the clinic in my p'j's

Tesco bouncers wouldn't be having any of that Obi Grin

What did you do to your foot Shiny?

AgentZigzag · 08/08/2011 16:23

Can't your DP help you get dressed?

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 08/08/2011 16:44

What about swapping your pjs for sweatpants and a t-shirt - which is just a slightly sturdier form of pjs - then you can go wherever you want, without anyone complaining, and you can sleep in them tonight if there's no-one around to help you change back into your pjs.

kittensliveupstairs · 08/08/2011 16:48

Y know YABU, your gusset must be minging after two days of sitting in them.

SilveryMoon · 08/08/2011 16:48

I went to the docs in my pj's once.
Tbf, ds2 had smacked his forehead on a door frame and was covered in blood, so I just picked him up and rushed him down there! Stuff like that always happens when I try to have a lay-in!
For me, it'd depend how far away the clinic is and who you are likely to bump into. Our clinic is at the bottom of the road, so I'd go in pj's.
remember to wear your fake ugg boots though Wink (or at least boot) Grin

farnywarny · 08/08/2011 16:50

YABU - although you would fit in well round my neck of the woods. Do you also plan to attend your appointment in rollers and layers of fake tan?

(guess wheere I live haha)

LolaRennt · 08/08/2011 16:52

I'd allow it in the case of illness. YANBU

Migsy1 · 08/08/2011 17:00

I once drove to the firestation in my nightie and with my 3 boys in pjs. It was an emergency though as I thought the house was about to blow up. The lovely firemen sorted it out!

But, unless it was physically impossible to get changed, I would not go out in my PJs. I was mortified in my nightie with those firemen around me! (I managed to put a coat on top).

AuntiePickleBottom · 08/08/2011 17:05

are you able to wear any other bottoms.

SecretNutellaFix · 08/08/2011 17:16

injury is not illness, and this isn't a blue light situation.Wink

Just change into joggers/ jersey trousers and a t-shirt.

youarekidding · 08/08/2011 17:57

Just make sure before you remove PJ bottoms you can get a replacement item on alone if you've no help there. Pj's are preferable to nada Grin

thisisyesterday · 08/08/2011 18:16

i wouldn't personally. if it's just your foot that's hurt then i can't really see why you can't just get changed tbh!

but s'up to you really :)

hope your foot is better soon
