AIBU?

to start a thread so that anyone who has anything to say about anything at all can get it all off their chest without bumping three year-old threads?

Further to the recent invasion of the zombie-threads, I thought it might be helpful to provide a shiny new thread just in case anyone has anything at all they want to air, let's say on the subject of childbirth, healthcare professionals and the appropriate sort of engineering degree needed to deliver a baby.

I thought it might spare the blushes of those who have suddenly found their idle musings of 18 months ago catapulted onto the front page of AIBU or Childbirth. It might also spare poor Tortoise from trailing round after the zombies pointing out the age of the threads in question!

Anyone? Anything to say?

Doubt anyone would be interested in my musings.

Dh has got a phd in mechanical engineering, WIBU to hire him out to cover midwife shortages? He's a scientist so is suitably qualified judging by recent threads? How much should I charge?

I would like to say I am sick to death of my neighbours daughter! She is a TA so has summer holidays off. She comes to her mother's every day, and she has a voice like a foghorn + lots of "I said to her, then she said to me, and I said........". This went on for 8 hours Tues, 6 hours yesterday, and is continuing today. They are in their kitchen (terraced house so about 15ft away) and all I can hear is her voice..........all day!

I have the option to shut out the beautiful weather and close the door I suppose.

Or I could put on UB40 at full volume (her mother made it quite clear when we moved in that 'noise' and 'music' is not acceptable). Hmmm......dilemma!

Good work pannda :) it's been annoying me all morning, this has!
I worry that my degree in English does not qualify me to make the decisions I need to for the baby I'm going to have v soon though, damn not listening to my dad and not doing a science degree!

I don't like fairies. My DD's current behaviour appears to be modelled on Tinkerbell's.

LadyThumb

Do her friends apparently always turn around on the spot before they speak to each other, as well? Grin

Glad the thread has been of assistance for those with fairy/tile/loud children problems.

I have to say though, I don't see anyone with any real committment to any particular issue on this thread. Oh well, I am sure someone might come along soon with some really unique theories on, say, male vs female healthcare staff.

I have issues with singletrack lanes.

Is there anyone around who can help me out?

TandB · 28/07/2011 13:27

Meeee! Your problem is easily solved. Just refuse to reverse. Everyone will eventually get out of your way, I promise!

OK, I have a little issue for you to resolve... I am sort of on gardening leave before starting my new job. Should I:

(a) finish the tedious and pointless presentation I am half way through, or
(b) fanny around on MN for the entire afternoon?

Bear in mind that I do not work in the public sector and am thus not wasting taxpayers' money.

Could we ask HQ for a whole area of the boards for childbirth nutters?

Target audience would be highly qualified freebirthers ,the tokophobia troll and all their little friends.

I don't have time to be messing about on this thread, I've got orders to process and a meeting to prepare for.
