why can't scientists identify the hormone or gene responsible and nuke it

teenagers know everything, thats a well known fact

until they become parents, then they know nuffin

when teenagers don't know they make it up and say it with same conviction and give you that "mother you are truly the stupidest person in the universe" look

My 6 yo does this too (complete with withering, "mother you know nothing look"). I am dreading him becoming a teen.

I remember a time I thought I knew it all, but for me it only lasted between the ages of 14-16. By the time I started A-Levels I realise I knew nothing much at all.

My 2yo knew it all: as a 14yo she is far more likely to bow to experience.
