We are rural - not rural enough for proper village type schemes but enough that there is bugger all on offer..

DD is 13 and the cut off for everything within a 25 mile radius is 12.

I work so can't be driving her hours and picking up again.

And there is bugger all on offer.

AAAARRRGH.

bugger all twice - that's how pissed off i am.

although school had some good stuff for a week but we are away the same week. its the following 5 weeks of boredom which i am fretting about.

Um, I don't know much about teenagers, but can she have a friend to stay? Can she got and stay with any relatives that live somewhere "busy"? Tricky one, I sympathise.

have you looked at the YMCA holiday schemes? They provide transport (although I don't know where you are obviously) or any residential schemes
