Have they never heard of BMI? Surely they know they are slim as they must need to buy small sized clothes. Then why the need to post a boo hoo tale of woe is me to incite a load of sympathy posts that read YANBU you are soooooo skinny....wish I was that skinny......I'm sooooooo fat! And no, I do not have a weight problem at either end of the scale. I'm just sick of this body pananoia. Pull yourselves together women, for God's sake! Enough of this wallowing and whining about what your DP or DM said. Grow up- you have children now. Set a better example to your own daughters and shut up about your weight. Take a deep breath and let us ALL EAT CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a large big mac, large fries, apple pie and a diet coke. The diet coke makes all the rest 0 calories. Factoid.

TheOriginalBanshee · 19/07/2011 21:30

No no no Miss Verinder, we can't have ANY diet products here. The original coke for the Original Banshee thanks

Smarty I am your height and prob 2 stone heavier. Size 16, me, and 11 stone.

Does it really make you feel any better though, what some stranger on the Internet weighs? :o

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 19/07/2011 21:33

Im a size 16, sometimes 14, and im 13 stone and 5 foot 7. Dress size means zilch.

MissVerinder · 19/07/2011 21:36

But fat coke makes my teeth all furry :(

TheOriginalBanshee · 19/07/2011 21:39

Oscar your dp is an arse.

MitchiestInge · 19/07/2011 21:50

A mirror doesn't tell you much though! Sometimes they only show you your podge. People are not always very helpful either - had a big argument with a friend recently who insisted that I must be 'medically overweight'. I was so insulted, even if I do feel podgy most of the time nobody else is allowed to notice.

Then on the other hand you get other people saying 'pull yourself together' and pretending they want to be same shape and size when you just want to feel mildly miserable about gaining 2" of podginess around waist.

So is definitely not simple.

worraliberty · 19/07/2011 21:52

I don't know what thread you're talking about but the only weight threads I seem to see are by people wanting to lose weight? Confused

Either way, it's not like slim people don't eat cake Grin

TheOriginalBanshee · 19/07/2011 21:56

of course slim people eat cake worraliberty. I am talking about those that eat it and then feel so guilty they have to literally tell everyone, fish for a compliment (probably, ooh you're soooooo lucky, you can eat cake and still have a great figure...wish I was like yooooo) and then go for a jog Grin

worraliberty · 19/07/2011 21:58

MissVerinder · 19/07/2011 22:01

There was a cake shortage.

TheOriginalBanshee · 19/07/2011 22:03

Curiousmama · 19/07/2011 22:07

Agree dress size means nothing. I'm 5 ft 8 size 14 and weigh 12.5 stone-ish.

Have had loads of butter on my jackets with tea, half large bar of dairy milk and half bottle of wine tonight and couldn't give a stuff Wink

MitchiestInge · 19/07/2011 22:09

Sorry to harp on about this but when is it legitimate to worry about your weight? Or is that yet another thread?

TheOriginalBanshee · 19/07/2011 22:11

OMG this thread is making me so hungry!!!!!! marshmallows, wine, fat coke, jackets and butter, chocolate !"£$%^&*(
