That's a mighty nice pan, il grant you that. However, can you boil an egg in a nest of grated radishes in it and preserve the taste?

(As an aside, my mum has orange le creuset, mine is dark blue. She is posher than me. It is all true. And to top it all, I'm hankering after the new purple colour...)

I think if this thread is going to end up in Classics, then somebody needs to bite the bullet and post a good clue to the make of pans...otherwise no body will have clue in 12 months time.

Well, I didn't want to frighten anyone, but it was the essential range of pans which are 3k, the chefs range are a snap at 7k. I was worried people might suspect me of either untruths or being a pan lady. This has become an AIBU by stealth I'm afraid. Or pan I'm being unreasonable? (sorry, very poor)

Your bloody pans thread has forced me to nip to the bathroom to examine my stitches (due to be removed on Friday) as I was desperately trying not to laugh out loud and felt something flex a bit too far. I'm now going to have to see the G.P. in the morning to get them properly checked out !
