i guess it depends on how old she is!

Paschaelina · 17/07/2011 20:54

You should get her and sky+ The Apprentice. Unless she's just around the corner of course.

ZhenXiang · 17/07/2011 20:55

How old is she and what is her route like? If the route is not well lit and dodgy I would go even if my DD was in her late teens.

BelleDameSansMerci · 17/07/2011 20:55

I think I'd go but can you record The Apprentice?

Beccabop · 17/07/2011 20:55

Well how old is she and how far away...? Confused

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 17/07/2011 20:56

How old is she and how long will it take her or you ANDcan you just pause the tv?

Sirzy · 17/07/2011 20:56

I think irrespective of her age the nice thing to do would be to nip out and pick her up!

AtYourCervix · 17/07/2011 20:58

bollocks. i was hoping you'd all tell me to stay in and drink gin.

Well if she was attacked in the dark or caught pneumonia in the rain, how would you feel that you had put a TV programme and alcohol before your daughters well being!!!

prudaloo · 17/07/2011 21:01

Where are you that it's dark????

lawnimp · 17/07/2011 21:02

bit harsh doha Grin

if she's over 16 i would drink the gin personally

BelleDameSansMerci · 17/07/2011 21:02

Have double gin when you get back?

AtYourCervix · 17/07/2011 21:03

it's not really dark, just really cloudy and rainy. i think you need an infection to catch pneumonia, not wet feet.

next week i'll make her take an axe with her, then i can stay home and have gin.

NorksAreMessy · 17/07/2011 21:03

You know the all-purpose Norks answer
"be kind whenever possible. It is always possible"

You are allowed to drive in your PJs

dementedma · 17/07/2011 21:04

can't be dark already if in UK and rain won't dissolve her! if she's a big teen, let her get on with it. if she's a little un, go get her

AtYourCervix · 17/07/2011 21:05

humph. will put on uggs. if i get stopped by the fashion police i will blame you lot. back in a mo.

NettoSuperstar · 17/07/2011 21:06

YANBU.
Tell her to walk, she'll not melt.

MitchiestInge · 17/07/2011 21:08

Drink the gin THEN get her. The drive will be more fun. Have never seen the apprentice so not sure how it might compare.

Paschaelina · 17/07/2011 21:18

Oh god, uggs and pyjamas with a bottle of gin in the pocket?

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 17/07/2011 21:32

Well just make sure youget out of the car and shell never ask you again Grin

Punkatheart · 17/07/2011 21:33

Encouraging OP to drink and drive? Not even funny as a joke.

Uggs in the rain will be smelly!

MitchiestInge · 17/07/2011 21:43

You are allowed to drive after a few units you know?

StealthPolarBear · 17/07/2011 21:46

not really no!

Punkatheart · 17/07/2011 21:48

Um...I am not in favour.... I get completely lightheaded and lacking in judgement after one glass of wine. Seriously. I don't drive so there is never an issue. But I am very very sensitive about this, as a dear friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver. So I don't like jokes about it - particularly with spirits involved.

Anyway, I am sure that no one would drink gin and then drive.

MitchiestInge · 17/07/2011 21:48

I'm sure you are allowed about three units?

Maybe I should slink off to a special place for people who are a danger to society Blush
