I've just edited a piece on a science exhibition, which says "the most important forces in the world are time, space and gravy" and I agree. Grin

I know she means gravity but I'm tickled pink by that. Can I leave it in the magazine to amuse readers when my job is expressly to correct mistakes?!

I love finding amusing errors in the press, I'm sure it'd make someone's day...

perhaps edit in the words "sorry, gravity" after the word gravy. Made me smile as well Smile

Another one I loved was about the Wetland Centre ? "Bat Walks: Take an evening stroll with the centre's experts, who will show you their bits"

Could you do a little star with a correction at the bottom of the page?

Start a 'bloopers' blog. Grin at 'show you their bits'.
The woman who teaches Pilates at my work once sent an email inviting people to come along for the new term. It said 'Please wear loose-fisting clothes'.

Punkatheart · 18/07/2011 09:20

Change it to 'Thyme, Spuds and Gravy'. That's perfectly acceptable.
