There's so much of it and the colour and curl - talk about crowning glory! Blush

No objections about the colour, but didn't realise the "dragged back through a hedgerow look" was in now.

Live and learn...

takethisonehereforastart · 15/07/2011 17:11

As a fellow redhead who once had a perm...she definately needs to defrizz it and cut a bit off. Neglected red curls are dreadful, well cared for red curls are stunning and I'm sure she could afford a trip to the salon.

professorsnape · 15/07/2011 17:20

far too early 90's/julia roberts in pretty woman for my liking

thefirstMrsDeVere · 15/07/2011 17:33

I ususally love curly red hair.

Hers gets on my bloody nerves.

I said this before on here somewhere but -I think someone told her once that it was her best feature. Thats why she never gets a proper cut or puts it up.

It doesnt look in very good condition either.

She will have that same bloody hair style when she is 70.

thestringcheeseincident · 15/07/2011 17:33

Yes she needs the frizz ease. Otherwise gorgeous colour.

dolldaggabuzzbuzz · 15/07/2011 17:36

YANBU.
She's a fabulously stunning looking woman.
Probably thanks to that gorgeous mane of red curls.

alistron1 · 15/07/2011 17:46

I have to defend Rebekah Brooks here as the owner of a strawberry blonde (not Brooks lovely red) mop of long tight curls.

She does not need frizz ease FFS. And her hair is not a hedge.

And if you could tell me, or any other curly person, what the 'proper cut' is for our hair you'd make a bleedin' fortune.

alistron1 · 15/07/2011 17:47

In fact my hair is curlier than Rebekah Brooks...just for context.

ZZZenAgain · 15/07/2011 17:47

she's a very attractive woman and her hair is eye-catching. I don't think she needs to shape/control/defrizz it etc. She could , yes, get a different effect but I don't have the impression she is someone who fusses about much with her appearance

allegrageller · 15/07/2011 17:48

yeah I think Rebekah Brooks is gorgeous, however that does not stop her being an ugly, ugly person....

just tried posting, but disappeared... i think she's got gorgeous hair, i am actually Envy of it.

Oblomov · 15/07/2011 17:51

I thought she was very cold. and calculating. like sausages and marmalade said.

alistron1 · 15/07/2011 17:53

She is a disappointment to the curly haired brethren. But, I will defend the hair of my brethren until I breathe my last breath.

Just don't get me started on that turncoat Nicole Kidman.

catgirl1976 · 15/07/2011 18:06

Maybe it's what she got in exchange for her soul? Can't have been Ross Kemp.

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 15/07/2011 18:09

Grin at looks like Mick Hucknall although to be honest that is quite a hefty insult.

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 15/07/2011 18:11

Is it natural?? Just looked through those pictures on above link and there is a lot of dark root showing in a few of the pictures Hmm

JamieAgain · 15/07/2011 18:15

She has the potential to have beautiful hair, but I agree with MrsDevere - she needs to re-think it on the basis of her age.

alistron1 · 15/07/2011 18:24

When one has v.curly hair one can not rethink it. if I went shorter (I am of an age of Brooks) I'd look like Vera Duckworth.

JamieAgain · 15/07/2011 18:26

alistron - actually - I think it's the colour (assuming it's coloured). I've got v dark hair but I think as you get older your skin tone changes and you have to go a bit lighter so as not to look washed out. But I appreciate it's not straighforward to get a suitable cut. My hair's v thick as well and v few styles work

HairyFrotter · 15/07/2011 18:45

It's not naturally red. I think she wears it so big to try and draw attention away from her haggard face. Rupert seems to like it though - he's all over her like a pervy uncle eww.

BulletWithAName · 15/07/2011 18:54

Mines better Grin

jeckadeck · 15/07/2011 19:50

its seen better days... look at the old photos the Guardian is running, back in the day when she was with Ross Kemp it was in much better nick. Looks a bit wild woman of the woods now.

sausagesandmarmelade · 15/07/2011 20:41

This thread has really made me chuckle!

Perhaps she could do with some of that Moroccan hair oil....ponders!

Jointhedotties · 15/07/2011 20:45

Attractive?

I find her hard faced and extremely unattractive. She looks pinched and older than her years.
