To own 30 pairs of shoes?

DH thinks I am. Some are old vintage and the list includes flipflops/trainers etc. So am I a shoe-holic or average? It would be useful to know for future arguments discussions with DH.

YABU... to not own more shoes

I recently culled my shoe collection... I now have about 80 pairs. I don't think I could throw out more than that, as I really do wear all of them - though admittedly only once in a blue moon for a lot of the really dressy shoes.

Thankfully DH has no problem with the quantity of my shoes as long as they live in the wardrobe, under the bed or somewhere else safely out of the way and don't spill out all over the floor... the only time he has ever been cross with my shoes was when he stepped on a discarded lethal weapon spike heel with bare feet. Ouch.

I'm not sure I could manage with only 30 pairs, and how people with only a few pairs get by I have no idea!
