Is it even possible?

I'm a bit miffed with my health visitor as a few weeks ago I was feeding my ds In the clinic and he just cried and cried during the feed and he said nothing. I mentioned it the next day to a different health visitor and she immediately said "that's not right" and gave us things to try which worked. But he's started crying again and I'm hoping the other health visitor is at the clinic tomorrow when I get him weighed again so I can talk to her about it Hmm

It's possible of course....but don't be too harsh. They may not like to have said much because you didn't ask...and also because sometimes babies just cry...it's not always indicatng a problem.

Btw I once changed HV because the one I had was rude...pushy and questioned that we put "none" down on the form for religion. Cheey cow she was. I called the HV office and said I didn't want her again and they sent another one.

The nice one was there again today and she pointed out the problem to my health visitor. It sounded like he hadn't realised there was a problem, which is perhaps my fault, and I think he maybe felt a little guilty about that. The problem is my DS has a large strawberry birthmark on his lip, causing his lip to swell and it was causing him difficulty creating a tight seal around the seal, she's suggested we see if there are any narrower teats available to try, and to keep persevering. His weight gain is good so it is a major problem
