Day 3 of the pre-holiday diet.

He has brought into the house

Delicious crusty bread

Real butter

Cheese

Cake.

AIBU to hate him?

Be aware that all I have had today is fruit and vegetables and am seriously carb withdrawing.

twart made me Grin.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 13/07/2011 15:50

I thought it was a posh way of saying twat eg. 'Oh, Jocasta, Tarquin is such a twart'.

FoundWanting · 13/07/2011 15:51

I only clicked on this to find out how to 'twart' someone.

Not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed now.

AtYourCervix · 13/07/2011 15:53

he is a twart trying to thwart me.

GIT.

purplepidjincantatem · 13/07/2011 16:03

Is he trying to not-so-subtly hint that, actually, he loves you and would like to enjoy the sensual act of eating delicious food in your company?

If you're that bothered about your weight, take a leaf out of my DP's book - he found me a personal trainer and is paying for the sessions Grin disclaimer thats because my weight bothers me hes ok with it

AtYourCervix · 13/07/2011 16:04

he'd probably like me to be less grumpy about me not eating nice stuff but i want to be not so fat.

OP posts:
purplepidjincantatem · 13/07/2011 16:15

Eat proper delicious food and do more exercise - the endorphins prevent grumpiness depression then Grin

Thruaglassdarkly · 13/07/2011 16:21

(Am I being dense here in supposing the OP missed the "h" out of thwart? Because twart means something really rude according to the urban dictionary and I'm sure she didn't mean to stray into that territory Grin www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Twart

purplepidjincantatem · 13/07/2011 16:28

Thanks, thrua, i'd forgotten about the fannyfarting meaning!!!

MoChan · 13/07/2011 16:29

Just eat the cheese.

MoChan · 13/07/2011 16:29

ALL OF IT.

uninspired · 13/07/2011 16:34

If you're not having carbs you can have all the cheese and the butter

LadyThumb · 13/07/2011 16:40

What is it with men? As soon as I announced I was going on a diet, both my brother and my son take great delight in going 'yum yum' every time they eat something I can't have, like cake and ice cream and chocolate. They are wankers!!

I must admit I did, in the end, angrily shout that a bit of support wouldn't go amiss and they had the grace to look a bit sheepish.

unpa1dcar3r · 13/07/2011 16:43

I twart I saw a pussy cat...

At your cervix. Are you very fat? If you are then don't eat the food. If not but you just think you are eat it and enjoy. Smile

AtYourCervix · 13/07/2011 16:44

i am very large.

have you seen that photo of BB josie in her buikini? my things are like that.

OP posts:
colditz · 13/07/2011 17:51

he's scared your breasts will shrink

unpa1dcar3r · 13/07/2011 18:15

Nope not seen that Cervix, don't watch BB (didn't know it was still on in fact)
but if you're that big then I'd leave the bread and cheese and just have the cake. Or vice versa.
Just don't have loads of it! Grin

My DH does this too. The bugger still has the metabolism of a 6 year old boy and hasn't gained a pound since the day we met. I, on the other hand, only have to look at cheesecake and gain half a stone.
