Her and her hubbie are typical of the brand of wealthy people that ask other people to donate money to charity & to be environmentally aware while owning multiple homes & flying all over the world. Can't stand the lot of 'em.

CoffeeIsMyFriend · 15/07/2011 10:55

ooh Odium is my "Word of the Week" Grin

shmoz · 15/07/2011 11:23

pmsl at this statement re the 1.5 hours of yoga: ''People say: ?Oh no, it?s all right for you, but I haven?t got time.? It?s a false notion. We can all make time''

MUST. CONTROL. FIST. OF. DEATH.

hester · 15/07/2011 19:37

Of course we can all make time. I could, um, give up my job. Or give up my children. Or give up the housework. Or give us sleep. Easy when you think about it.

scottishmummy · 15/07/2011 20:06

Indaba · 15/07/2011 21:55

Sorry but if you read something in the Daily Mail you have to allow yourself to get annoyed. Its their mission in life................ to p**s off normal people.....if you can't do the time/don't do the crime...ie read it Smile

Living overseas I have developed an awful "DM on line" habit...it raises my blood pressure no end.....its all my own fault......lets desist!

Mintyy · 15/06/2014 23:38

Interesting that this thread was allowed to stay, more or less in its entireity, when it would almost certainly be deleted these days.

DeepThought · 15/06/2014 23:55

Times a'changed eh

Mintyy · 15/06/2014 23:59

Yip!

gertiegusset · 16/06/2014 00:00

Interesting certainly, but how on earth did you find/remember it?

It's a zombie thread.

Mintyy · 16/06/2014 00:08

Gertie, I suddenly got the rage about Sting and Trudi when I saw a story in the mail online press about their massive London house for sale. I remembered a brilliantly ascerbic piece by a Guardian journo about Trudi and her hypocrisy and I went searching for it and Google brought me back to this thread ...

PhaedraIsMyName · 16/06/2014 00:10

"I can't eat a ready meal whilst thinking of Sting's knob."

I hooted at that , unfortunately I think it might have got stuck in relation to any ready meal, not just hers.

She is irredeemably awful. Not an ounce of self awareness. She features regularly in The Guardian's Lost in Showbiz.

gertiegusset · 16/06/2014 00:13

Fair enough, it's odd how MN throws up stuff when you look for it.

OddFodd · 16/06/2014 05:03

Still, gratifying to see the ready meals bombed Smile

caramelwaffle · 16/06/2014 05:21

I couldn't agree more Mintyy with what you said about whether this would be pulled these days.

A lot of the "funny" has gone from MN. Or even "funny rages". Now it seems to be more "rage".

Oh, and as for Trudi Styler: bleurggghh. At least we see/hear less of her these days.

Chippednailvarnish · 16/06/2014 07:38

I was in the same class at school with Frances Tomelty and Sting's son. She's lovely, he isn't...
