Well I'm kind of a social smoker so I don't give myself too much of a hard time, but DP is a heavy smoker and I've now given up completely in a misguided attempt to show him how easy it is

yeah me too (altho i've never been a daily smoker, just a boozey one!), i told DP i wouldn't smoke anymore, but as i know i'm not pregnant i may have a couple. I also conveniently find booze and fags help with period pain!

oh dear Catgirl, that does sound horrible. I'm just a binging hedonist and i've refused to deprive myself of anything i want precisely when i want it. Fortunately addiction to anything didn't stick but i have always done massive amounts of everything in one go.
ie 60 fags in one night then none for 3 months till i fancy one again!
