..... Who has moved in with me and my 3dc for a whole week and brought another 3 children with her!!!!

She offered to have them then realised she could not cope, I agreed to help 2 nights now they have taken over.

I'm going mad!!!!

Not enough room in my car for everyone and she refuses to bring her car to mine because of to many roundabouts ??!

She is the least independed person I have known, I need to help her with everything. My house is a tip and my bathrooms stink because of the boy children pissing everywhere!!

She has now gone in the huff because I won't let them use my en-suite even though I have another bathroom and w.c.

to top it all of dh is getting back later after 2 months away to find his house a tip, his wife a stressed freak and I can't even get a shag because I have three people in the room to the left of mine three people in the too
To the right of mine and a baby over the hall who is so excited by all the activity going on that she has stopped sleeping!!

I love the woman but she drives me mad!!!!

You will have to be firm, run the house like a CM would with a firm timetable, which includes cleaning, if she doesn't like it then she can leave.

BTW, who are these children, were has she got them from Grin

Put her and her kids in your car and drive them back to her house NOW! They have to be gone before your DH gets home - OR when DH gets home say 'thank god you're here! please drive my mum and these kids home!'

They are friends children as the parents needed a break!!

Wonder if she will watch my children when she tips me over the edge?

I can't drive her home because i have noone to watch my dc And not enough room in car for everyone.

Plus I would get the guilt trip forever and a day, noone can do passive aggressive as well as my mother!

Learn to say no. Your life will be much nicer, and people will have more respect for you and treat you better, once you do.
Took me till I was 40 to realise that one...

bumpybecky · 06/07/2011 18:18

how did she get yo your house then? it must be possible to get her back to hers...

Nicola567 · 06/07/2011 18:30

Wish I could learn to say no!

She arranged a lift that can't come back till Saturday.

Sorry but she needs to return home with the children.

She offered she can deal with it or return them to their parents.

3 children have been away from home for a week?? They all need to go home before your dh gets there.

book her a taxi and offer to pay..

Passive aggressive should be treated much like a toddler, ignore the bad and praise the good Grin. Seriously she can only be passive aggressive if you respond grow a backbone for yours and your dh's sake!

PrettyMeerkat · 06/07/2011 18:53

Do you really want to continue putting up with it? If not then really think, is there not anyone who would watch your kids while you take her home? A neighbour?

She sounds difficult! My dad is a little bit like that and if he comes to visit/help me, I end up doing everything, or redoing what he does, or helping him do it as he can't figure it out despite being shown 20 times. He gets all in a tizz and it makes me really stressed. I end up running around chasing my own arse! He means well though.

PinkSchmoo · 06/07/2011 18:59

YANBU. Could you get a friend/neighbour to watch your dc while you extract your mad mum before you commit murder or your DH comes home.

PigTail · 06/07/2011 19:01

Your DH has been away for 2 months...you will get a shag.

throckenholt · 06/07/2011 19:08

when DH gets back then you will have someone to look after your kids while you take DM and co home. Can't see him wanting to put up with all those extra people in his house after being away for 2 months.

So hopefully it will only be another day.

HappyDoll · 06/07/2011 19:10

Go and shag on a roundabout. Your mum can watch the kids and you'll get more privacy.

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/07/2011 19:44

I'd send her and the three kids home in a taxi. You are doing her a massive favour so she needs to be on permanent toilet-cleaning duty and with a permasmile on her face. Otherwise, taxi.
