H (let's forget the DH for now) works 4 days this week and is not at work today- I am full of cold and have decided to stay off work today as I feel terrible. When I told H this morning he pulled a face and said we'd get in each others way if I stayed off. AIBU to hate him ATM?

He is right. Both DH works from home and it is distracting to have someone else around. I work part time and we arrange my days off so they differ to the days DH works from home.
Just take it as permission to have the day in bed so you don't disturb him

I understand how he feels. If I were looking forward to a nice day in the house by myself I wouldn't want an ill person there either. But he should hide it better.

I can understand the sentiment but agree it would have been better that he kept it to himself.

I have several female friends who are SAHM who moan no end whenever their DHs are at home during the day, so I don't think it is a male only problem.

Redskyatnight has it exactly, sometimes it's nice to have DH working from home, sometimes he gets in my way. Sometimes the company is lovely, but sometimes it just isn't.
