Dittany leave Hully alone - if I ever wanted to discuss or explore feminist issues she'd be the one I'd turn to - she's approachable and doesn't make people who are a bit unsure feel like idiots -

Oooo have a fight over me, gwan.

It was going to be a luvverly limerick. Interesting that the assumption is one of nastiness...

Hullygully · 05/07/2011 11:28

The bizarre thing about this thread is that most of the posters on it, on both sides of the argument, do post on the feminist section. Some of the people complaining about the behaviour of regulars on the feminist section are constantly on there themselves (and I don't mean Lenin 'Switzerland' Grad). The rest of MN must think this is the most peculiar thread ever.

Hullygully · 05/07/2011 11:29

Lenin "Switzerland" Grad

Not seeing a great deal of ignoring and avoiding here, ditts me ol mucker

Bennifer · 05/07/2011 11:33

This must all look like the Life of Brian to non-feminist posting MNers

Hullygully · 05/07/2011 11:34

On another note, when I were a lass I had several ishoos with people and my mother pointed out that if lots of people were all saying the same thing to me, it might be worth giving what they were saying a weeny bit of thought.

Just an idea.

I didn't mean it as an insult Hully.

And it is true. Many of the people on here, including the OP of this thread, are very regular posters on the feminism section. Yet they are discussing it as if it is nothing to do do with them at all.

MarySueFTW · 05/07/2011 11:35

"I didn't join a thread to start banging on about a posters I can't stand (naming no names) and encouraging everybody else to have a go at them too. I came on here to defend myself."

The first thing you did when you entered this thread was misrepresent me and what I posted. How is that defending yourself?

No, I know Milly, it was very funny, I meant weeping with laughter at the thought of Lenin as a cuckoo clock.

Hullygully · 05/07/2011 11:36

Jamez. Now he's a little love bunny.
