To sincerely hope that China, Vietnam and all of the other asian countries involved in the East Sea dispute can peacefully resolve their problems?

I have lived in Southeast Asia and am in Vietnam at the moment, so am hearing and reading about all of the things going on with China. It worries me that the 2 countries may go to war. Vietnam is developing so quickly and has made huge strides over the past 2 decades. I would feel so sad if they start a war. I just couldn't imagine it.

Does anyone else feel this way and AIBU to be worried about the possibility? Is anything being said about what is happening in the UK papers?
